Instant Chocolate Mousse
Decadent, silky, smooth and creamy choccie mousse!
You NEED to make this!! I’ve been making this for dessert the last couple weeks and I am OBSESSED. My favourite part about this recipe is that it is ready in less than 5 minutes. So it’s the perfect recipe to whip up after dinner for a quick dessert or when you have guests over.
And it is super duper indulgent, you would never even know there is an avocado hiding in there! The whole recipe is made from such wholesome ingredients, you could literally eat this for breakfast - try changing up the carob/cacao for some Choc Protein powder, add some chopped fruit to the bowl and BAM, dessert that is nutritious enough for breakfast too.
Instant Chocolate Mousse
Serves 2
Ingredients
1 ripe avocado
1 ripe frozen banana
1/4 cup canned coconut cream
4 tbsp carob powder (or cacao powder*)
4 medjool dates, pitted
Method
Add all the ingredients to a blender/food processor and blend until smooth.
Serve immediately with some fresh berries, or refrigerate for up to 3 days.
*if subbing cacao, I would suggest adding an extra 1-2 dates, or some maple syrup, as cacao is not as sweet as carob.
