Immune Boosting Lemon Pie Smoothie

With everything that is going on in the world currently, and also being Winter, it's so important that we support our immune health.

3 simple things I incorporate into my daily routine to stay #Well4Winter are:

☀️Getting outside in the sunshine for at least 20 minutes a day (in a sun-safe way of course);

🌈Filling each meal with an abundance of nutrient-rich veggies i.e eating the rainbow;

😴Getting at least 8 hours of sleep each night.

This Lemon Pie Smoothie is great for supporting immunity - loaded with nutrients from the fresh fruit and sneaky serve of veg in there, plus includes a dose of @comvita_au Olive Leaf Extract which is a powerful antioxidant and helps support general health and wellbeing.

Immune Boosting Lemon Pie Smoothie

Ingredients

Serves 1

  • 1 ripe banana, frozen

  • Juice and zest of 1 fresh lemon

  • 1 cup coconut milk (carton)

  • 15ml @comvita_au Olive Leaf Extract

  • 1 tbsp coconut yoghurt

  • 2 tsp chia seeds

  • 1/2 zucchini, chopped

  • 1 tbsp pure maple syrup

  • Pinch of ground turmeric

  • Handful of ice

Method

  1. Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Add more liquid if needed to achieve your desired consistency. Pour into your favourite glass and enjoy!
