Choc Almond Crunch Donuts

For the Donuts (makes 9)

  • 1/2 cup almond meal

  • 1 cup Teff flour

  • 2 heaped tbsp cacao powder

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1/3 cup + 1 tbsp vegan butter, melted

  • 1/4 cup oat milk

  • 1/4 cup maple or rice malt syrup

  • 2 eggs or vegan egg replacers

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, fan-forced.

  2. Combine all the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl and then add in the wet ingredients.

  3. Transfer mixture into 9 greased donut moulds and bake for 12-13 minutes.

  4. Once cooked, set aside to cool before moving onto the icing.

For the icing:

  • 3/4 block @lovingearth Almond Crunch Chocolate

  • 1 tsp coconut oil

  • 1/4 cup almonds, chopped

  1. Melt the chocolate and coconut oil together.

  2. Then dip the donuts into the icing and sprinkle with chopped almonds.

  3. Place in the fridge for 1 hour to set.
