Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookie Smoothie

Avocados aren't just a great toast topping, have you ever tried them in a smoothie?

Adding Avocados to my smoothies is my favourite hack to creating the most creeeamy, dreeeamy smoothie consistency! Plus, this also adds an abundance of extra nutrients, including a source of healthy fats, to any smoothie!

My favourite smoothie at the moment is this Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookie Smoothie with Australian Avocado! It's the perfect snack to whip at up any time of the day! Give it a try!

Ingredients (serves 1)

  • 1/4 large Avocado (or 1/2 a small)

  • 1 tbsp natural peanut butter

  • 1 serve chocolate protein powder (I use Happy Way vegan chocolate protein)

  • 1 tsp cacao powder

  • 1 tsp pure maple syrup

  • 1/2 frozen banana

  • 1 handful of spinach (optional)

  • 1 cup almond or cashew mylk

  • 1 large handful of ice

  • Cacao nibs, to serve

Method

  1. Simply add all the ingredients, except cacao nibs, to a blender and blend until smooth and creamy (add more liquid if needed).

  2. Then pour into your favourite glass, stir through some cacao nibs and enjoy!
