Honey Tahini & Banana Bread

One of my favourite all time and go-to snacks is always Banana Bread! So I love experimenting and creating new flavours, and this one right here is a massive winner!

Gluten free and dairy free yet it still has that perfect banana bread texture!

Honey Tahini & Banana Bread

Ingredients

  • 3 large ripe bananas

  • 3 eggs (or vegan egg replacers)

  • 1/3 cup honey

  • 1/2 cup tahini

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 cup almond meal

  • 1/2 cup gluten free plain flour

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • Pinch of salt

  • To top: sesame seeds and banana slices

Method

  1. Start by preheating your oven to 180C, fan-forced.

  2. Mash the bananas in a large mixing bowl then add in remaining wet ingredients and mix to combine.

  3. Add in the dry ingredients and mix well.

  4. Pour mixture into a loaf tin, top with banana slices and sesame seeds.

  5. Place in the oven to bake for 45-50 minutes.

  6. Allow to cool completely before cutting.
