Choc Chip Apple Crumble Baked Oats

I think this could be my new favourite breakfast recipe. Giving baked oats the ultimate face lift with the addition of the NEW SpiceTub Apple Crumble Mix!

Ingredients

Serves 1

Oats:

  • 1/3 cup oat flour

  • 1 serve VEGAN vanilla protein powder

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tbsp SpiceTub apple crumble mix

  • 5-6 tbsp almond milk

  • 1 tbsp pure maple syrup

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tbsp coconut yoghurt

  • 1/4 apple, chopped

  • 1-2 squares dairy free chocolate

Crumble topping:

  • 1 tbsp oats

  • 1 tbsp desiccated coconut

  • 1/4 tsp SpiceTub apple crumble mix

  • 1 tbsp vegan butter or coconut oil

  • 4 walnuts, chopped

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C, fan-forced.

  2. Combine all the dry Oats ingredients and then mix in the wet.

  3. Stir in the chopped apple and choc chips. Transfer oats mixture into a greased oven proof ramekin.

  4. Combine all the ingredients for the crumble and use your finger tips to rub the butter/coconut oil into the mixture to form the crumble.

  5. Pour crumble on top of the oat mixture and place in the oven to bake for 14-15 minutes.

  6. Enjoy!
