Choc Chai Lava Cake

The Choc-Chai flavour combo is honestly a match made in heaven, just like PB&J or Choc-Peanut Butter.

This recipe is also GLUTEN FREE, DAIRY FREE, VEGAN & REFINED SUGAR FREE!

Choc Chai Lava Cake

Ingredients

CAKE

  • 1/4 cup gluten free flour (I used rice flour)

  • 1/4 cup almond meal

  • 1 tbsp coconut sugar

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • Pinch of salt

  • 1 tbsp cacao powder

  • 1/4 cup coconut yoghurt

  • 2 tbsp Chai Addict Concentrate (DC: ELISE15)

  • Coconut oil + 1 tsp cacao to cover ramekin

FILLING

  • 1-2 squares dairy free dark chocolate

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C fan-forced.

  2. Combine all the dry ingredients, then mix in the wet.

  3. Grease a single serve ramekin with coconut oil and then cover with extra cacao powder.

  4. Add half of the choc chai mixture. Then place the chocolate squares in the centre and spoon over remaining mixture.

  5. Place in the oven to bake for 18-20 minutes (or until cooked through.
