Caramel Banana Breakfast Pizza
One of my goals in being a Health & Nutrition Coach & sharing my journey on social media is to show just easy and FLIPPING DELICIOUS healthy eating truely is. I don't ever overcomplicate things with counting calories or macros. It is about understanding the ingredients you're using; what they are each providing your body in terms of nutrients and energy; and how to create a balanced meal. Because once you understand these foundations, NOTHING is 'off limits' and you are able to use this knowledge to create DELICIOUS meals like this that nourish your body and just taste incredible.
When you truely understand your ingredients and how to balance each meal, 'healthy' can mean an abundant nourish bowl OR a sweet breakfast pizza! Pretty cool right?
Okay, now onto the recipe!
Ingredients (serves 1)
1/3 cup rolled oats
1/2 mashed banana
1 tbsp coconut flour (or could sub for vanilla protein powder)
2 tbsp Better Being Steph x Sneaky Wholefoods Caramel Banana Blend
1 tbsp coconut yoghurt
Dash of almond milk
Vanilla stevia (to taste)
Method
Combine all ingredients and transfer onto some baking paper.
Using the back of a spoon (the mixture will be a little sticky but mouldable), shape into a pizza/circular shape - about 1cm thick.
Bake in the airfryer for 10 minutes at 180 degrees OR in the oven at 180 degrees celsius (fan-forced) for 12-15 minutes or until golden.
I topped mine with Coyo mixed with Almond Butter (YUM!), sliced banana and @lovingearth Salted Caramel choccie!
