Making your own granola is so SIMPLE, QUICK & EASY. Plus it means you know exactly what’s going in it because so many store bought granolas are packed with added sugars and nasties.

I always have a batch of homemade granola in the cupboard and use to to top smoothie bowls, oatmeal, yoghurt bowls, or to have just straight outta the jar as a snack!

Ingredients (makes 1 tray)

  • 1 cup oats

  • 2 scoops chocolate protein (I used Botanika Blends Hazelnut Cacao)

  • 2 tbsp sunflower seeds

  • 2 tbsp Pepitas

  • 2 tbsp buckinis

  • 1 tbsp cacao nibs

  • 2 tbsp honey (sub maple syrup for vegan option)

  • 2 tbsp peanut butter

  • Pinch of salt

  • 1-2 tbsp water

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius fan-forced.

  2. Mix all dry ingredients together. Then add in wet ingredients and mix well.

  3. Spread evenly onto a lined baking tray and bake for 12-15 minutes.
