Choc Hazelnut Weetbix Bake

Can it get any better than a breakfast recipe that involves Weetbix and the NEW chocolate hazelnut protein powder? I think not!

Choc Hazelnut Weetbix Bake

Ingredients

Serves 1

  • 2 GF Weetbix, slightly crushed

  • 1 serve (30g) vegan CHOCOLATE HAZELNUT protein powder (I use Happy Way)

  • 1 tsp cacao powder

  • 1 tbsp flaxmeal

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • Pinch of salt

  • Boiling water

  • Dash of almond milk

  • Mix ins: hazelnuts, dairy free choc chips

Method

  1. Combine all the dry ingredients in a bowl, then pour over boiling water - just enough to cover. Mix everything together, mashing the weetbix up as you go. You want tp achieve a THICK porridge consistency, so add more boiling water as needed. Once you have achieved the desired consistency, add a dash of almond milk (about 1-2 tbsp) and mix in to make more of a creamier consistency.

  2. Transfer this porridge mix into a greased ramekin and top with some dark chocolate chips. Place in the airfryer* to bake at 180 for 10 minutes.

*You can also bake these in the oven - bake at 180C for 15-20 minutes.
