Raw Minty Choc Brownie Bites

The perfect little treat to have with a cup of tea or as a 'after dinner mint' to finish off the day. This delicious recipe is even Mum and boyfriend approved!!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup @anandafoodaus hemp flour

  • 1/2 cup oat bran (or oat flour)

  • 3/4 cup pitted dates, soaked for 15 mins in boiling water

  • 2 tbsp date soaking water

  • 1/3 cup cacao powder

  • 2 tbsp shredded coconut

  • 2 tsp peppermint essence

  • 1/4 cup warm water

  • Desiccated Coconut, for topping

Method

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

  2. Transfer mix into a silicone or lined tin and smooth out evenly.

  3. Sprinkle over some desiccated coconut and place in the freezer to set for 3 hours, or preferably overnight, before slicing.

  4. Store in the freezer. You can eat this straight from the freezer or allow to defrost at room temperature for 5 minutes.
