Honey Tahini & Banana Bread
One of my favourite all time and go-to snacks is always Banana Bread! So I love experimenting and creating new flavours, and this one right here is a massive winner!
Gluten free and dairy free yet it still has that perfect banana bread texture!
Honey Tahini & Banana Bread
Ingredients
3 large ripe bananas
3 eggs (or vegan egg replacers)
1/3 cup honey
1/2 cup tahini
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup almond meal
1/2 cup gluten free plain flour
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
Pinch of salt
To top: sesame seeds and banana slices
Method
Start by preheating your oven to 180C, fan-forced.
Mash the bananas in a large mixing bowl then add in remaining wet ingredients and mix to combine.
Add in the dry ingredients and mix well.
Pour mixture into a loaf tin, top with banana slices and sesame seeds.
Place in the oven to bake for 45-50 minutes.
Allow to cool completely before cutting.
