Coconut Iced Chocolate

I have been having this drink on repeat in this warmer weather! It literally takes seconds to make and takes just like a ice cold MILO!! Need I say more?

I actually prefer carob in this recipe just because it has a delicious sweetness to it - but cacao works a treat too! Feel free to add more/less sweetener to achieve your perfect level of sweetness.

Coconut Iced Chocolate

Serves 1

Ingredients

  • 1 cup coconut milk

  • 2 tbsp canned coconut milk

  • 1 tbsp carob (or cacao)

  • 1/2 tsp maca powder

  • 1/2 tbsp pure maple syrup

  • 1 tbsp boiling water

  • Handful of ice

Method

  1. Combine the carob (or cacao), maca, maple syrup and boiling water in a mug.

  2. Add your coconut milks and ice to your serving glass then pour in the chocolate mixture. Stir together and enjoy!
